Just over 24 hours before Real Madrid‘s first La Liga match of the 2020-21 season, Zinedine Zidane gets an Isco Alarcon back, which is a short match fit. He went out for two weeks with a sprained ankle, which he trained in the first days of pre-season training.
Isco’s return to group training was good news for Real Madrid. On Saturday morning, they trained without Gareth Bale, who is preparing his loan move to Tottenham in London, and without Eden Hazard, Marco Asensio, Militao, Lucas Vázquez and Mariano Díaz.
Militao suffered a muscle problem in the Real Madrid training match against Getafe and he will miss the trip to San Sebastian. He stayed inside with the physioe doing specific recovery work.
Hazard, Marco Asensio and Lucas Vazquez did individual training on the ground while Mariano was still undergoing surgery after tonsilitis. Martin Odegaard has usually completed the weekly training session and is fit to play for his former club Real Sociedad, while Luka Jovic also suffered an injury and is available for selection.
